The Big Smoke

The Big Smoke was a self directed project for my studio photography course that encouraged the original and imaginative photographic solutions to design problems. I really enjoyed having the freedom to conceptualise and explore my ideas whilst creating and producing in a professional studio environment. The Big Smoke was created by constructing cardboard skyscrapers and then texturing them with laser prints, the two foot tall cities were then photographed with various lighting techniques with the sky components added post production.
